I've had five babies of my own. Every single one came early. I've cried in NICUs, laughed through contractions, changed birth plans on the fly, and learned firsthand that birth almost never goes exactly how we picture it.
Babies have a funny way of writing their own birth plans anyway.
That's why I don't show up with expectations. I show up ready to document your story exactly as it unfolds.
No matter how your baby gets here, we don't need a perfect story.
We just need your story.

A prenatal consultation so we can get to know each other, answer questions, and chat about your hopes for your birth.
On-call coverage beginning at 38 weeks. Once I'm on call, my phone stays on and my camera bag stays packed!
Coverage beginning in active labor through about two hours after your baby's birth.
A beautifully curated gallery of hand-edited images telling the story of your baby's arrival.
A private online gallery where you can download, share, and print your images.
A custom-designed heirloom album filled with your favorite moments, so your birth story doesn't just live on a screen.

If you're looking for more than beautiful photos, this is my favorite way to support families.
From the excitement of a positive pregnancy test to the sleepless, spit-up-covered days after your baby arrives, I'll be there with practical advice, steady support, and a camera in hand.
When you hire me, you're getting an experienced birth photographer, a trained doula, and maybe most importantly... a mom who's been there. I'll help you sort through the endless questions, connect you with trusted resources, talk through your birth preferences, and help you feel prepared before labor ever begins.
Then, when it's finally time to meet your baby, you don't have to wonder whether I'm taking pictures or supporting you.
I'm doing both.
Sometimes I'm quietly documenting your partner's face as they meet your baby for the first time. Other times I'm handing them a snack because they forgot to eat six hours ago!
That's the beauty of having one person do both. While I'm supporting you through labor, I'm also preserving the memories you'll treasure for the rest of your life.

Two prenatal meetings where we'll talk through your birth preferences, comfort measures, options, and postpartum plans.
On-call support beginning at 38 weeks. I'll join you when you need me and stay through your baby's birth, offering calm support while documenting your story as it unfolds.
Around two hours of support after birth to help you settle in, get fed, and soak up those first moments together.
One postpartum visit to check in, answer questions, and connect you with any resources you might need.
Your choice of either a maternity session or a newborn session to complete your story.
You don't have to choose between having support and having your memories preserved.

There are parts of birth that photos just can't capture.
The way you instinctively swayed through contractions. The sound of your baby's first cry. Your partner whispering, "You did it." The tiny squeaks, the happy tears, the laughter, and all the little movements that bring your story to life.
That's where birth films come in.
While I'm documenting your birth through photographs, I'm also capturing short video clips throughout your labor and birth. Then I weave those moments together into a 4-6 minute highlight film set to music, creating something that lets you feel your birth all over again.
It's not about replacing your photos. It's about preserving the pieces they simply can't capture.
Years from now, you'll hear your baby's first cry again. You'll watch the way you reached for them. You'll see your partner's face light up all over again. It's a completely different way to relive one of the most life-changing days of your life.
