When I saw my birth photos I cried happy tears. I was overwhelmed with how beautiful it all looked, how she captured so many moments of connection and so much emotion between Peter and me, and all the close-ups of Max like his little feet and his umbilical cord. It was as if I got to be all over the room when it was happening instead of just in the bed watching from one perspective.
-Carole K.

"Yes, birth photography is an investment. but those moments are genuinely priceless. There is so much that Kylie did for me that it truly was worth it."
-Abigail

" Kylie took the most amazing pictures, capturing the feelings, the pain, the strength and love in the room.. The energy she brought was outstanding. Calming, encouraging, motivating, and excitement.. but also knowing WHERE to be, so we still had our little bubble.
-Heather w.

ready to set up a consultation or have more questions?

Your birth images are YOURS, first and foremost. I love to be able to share the beauty of birth, but it is not a requirement. We go over this in the consultation, as well as once I've delivered your images.

Will I share your photos?

I live in Firestone, Colorado so I like to stay within an hour drive from home. This includes Boulder | Brighton | Erie | Firestone | Fort Collins | Greeley | Longmont | Louisville | Loveland | Thornton | & the surrounding Northern Colorado areas.

How far will I travel for births?

I absolutely offer payment plans! There is a $200 non-refundable retainer fee to add your due date to my calendar, and the full payment is due by your 38th week. I am happy to set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payments. In some cases, I may be able to set up a payment plan that goes beyond the 38 week mark.

Do I offer payment plans?

I do use my flash in most birth situations. I never directly point it at you or baby, I bounce it off of the ceiling or wall. Most people don't notice it. I am happy to turn it off if it does bother you though. I do my best to use my flash intentionally when the lighting is low so that I'm not disturbing your labor.

Do I use flash?

I have a group of birth photographers in my back pocket! I will backup for them, and they backup for me when needed. We will discuss who will be backing me up closer to your due date.

Who is my backup photographer?

I work with a few other birth photographers in the area to make sure that we have backup coverage for births. If I am sick or have an emergency, or if I'm already at another birth, I will send my backup photographer.
If the baby comes faster than I can make it, or if I miss the moment of birth, I will still stay to document the first few hours of baby's life. I will also offer you a fresh 48 session the next day or an in-home newborn session when you get home.

What if I'm sick or have an emergency? What happens if the baby comes fast or i miss the birth?

I plan to be at your birth space when you are in active labor. This generally looks like your contractions are in a consistent pattern of 4-6 minutes apart lasting about a minute for about an hour. This varies in each person, so there should be a LOT of communication before this! I stay until 2-3 hours after your baby is born to document the golden hour of bonding and the newborn exam.

When do I arrive? How long do I stay?

I go on-call for you when you reach 38 weeks. This means all of my equipment is charged and ready to go, my phone is on LOUD and on me at all times, my childcare is in order, and I stay close to home.

What does on-call mean and when do I go on-call?
